E20 Citizen Feedback Tracker

A public, voluntary register of how Indian drivers say E20 petrol is affecting their vehicles — by issue, state and vehicle age. Anonymous by design.

Read this first. These are self-reported, unverified submissions from visitors to this website — not official complaint counts and not government data. Figures are voluntary citizen feedback for transparency and awareness only. For an official complaint, please use the complaint generator and file with NCH 1915, CPGRAMS or your dealer.

Had an E20 issue? Make it count.

Generate a proper complaint letter and (optionally) add your anonymous report to this tracker.

Methodology & safeguards

  • Voluntary & self-reported. Anyone can submit; submissions are not verified. This is a citizen-feedback tool, not a scientific survey or an official complaint tally.
  • Anonymous by design. We collect only coarse, non-identifying bands — State, vehicle type, vehicle age band, issue type(s) and a mileage-drop band. We never collect your name, contact, address, vehicle model or registration number.
  • Consent-first. Nothing is added unless you tick the consent box on the complaint tool. You can choose to generate a letter and not submit anything.
  • Not affiliated. KnowYourFuel.in is independent and not connected to any government body, oil company or manufacturer.
  • Balanced. The government, ARAI and manufacturers state E20 is safe; MoPNG acknowledges a ~3–5% economy drop in some vehicles. We publish citizen experience alongside those facts, not instead of them. See our Myth vs Fact page.
Data shown reflects voluntary submissions and, where enabled, reports saved on your own device. It may not be representative of all drivers. Use it for awareness, not as evidence of any specific claim.
